Warranty Terms & Conditions

Due to the type of Infraca S.L. customers, exclusively companies (wholesalers and installers), the REAL DECRETO LEGISLATIVO 1/2007, November the 16th, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, INFRACA S.L. products are not within the scope of application of this law, as our customer is not considered a consumer or user. (see Título I, Capítulo I, Artículos nº2 y nº3).

Therefore, INFRACA S.L. will not cover any claim by an end customer on an assembled door or product, since it will be the installer who assumes the responsibility for the correct installation of the product or door.

INFRACA S.L. grants a warranty certificate to its customers covering the product for a period of 1 year from the moment the door is purchased, related to any hidden manufacturing defect.

However, the warranty shall have no validity or effect in the following cases:

  1. Negligence in the installation, use and maintenance of the door or product:
  •  Use of the door in contravention of the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the door.
  •  Negligent action on the part of the end customer.
  •  A blow or damage to the product caused during the storage process outside the factory before assembly or by its use.
  •  A modification or repair of the door by persons other than the installer, manufacturer or staff authorized by them.
  •  Alteration or manipulation of the serial numbers. In case of products with electrical and/or electronic elements.
  •  Use of the door under unsuitable voltage, without grounding, voltage drop.
  •  If the limit values specified in the technical data are exceeded (see the relevant sections of the operating instructions).
  •  Damage caused by connection to other equipment or systems.
  1. If there has been an introduction of any alteration or modification to the door or any of its elements without the express consent of the manufacturer.
  2.  The use of any other type of parts other than original spare parts and authorized accessories automatically voids the warranty given by INFRACA S.L.
  3.  For breakdown or damage caused by accidents or acts of God, natural disasters, as well as any other event of force majeure.

 In the event that any component does not work properly, it will be sent back to INFRACA S.L. for analysis and to determine if it is under warranty. The shipping of this material will always be paid by the customer. If the customer wishes, we can send the replacement part prior to the reception of the damaged part. If the defect is included in the warranty, INFRACA S.L. will pay the shipping costs and the material that has been invoiced. If we do not receive the defective part within 30 days from the reception of the new part, we will understand that the customer wishes to keep both parts and that no payment is due.

Excluded from the warranty are reimbursement of assembly and disassembly costs, testing of the relevant parts, as well as claims for lost profits and compensation for damages.

In the case of electronic component failures, it will also be necessary to present a certificate from the electricity supplier, indicating that the voltage has been maintained within the established parameters on the date on which the incident occurred.

In those incidents that justify the use of the warranty, we will opt for the repair, replacement of the article, discount or refund, in the legally established terms.

Infraca S.L. has a technical service specialized in attending via telephone all the consultations that take place related to the installation of the doors. Our technical assistance service will attend you immediately, looking for a quick and economical solution, as well as the satisfaction of our customer. The technical service will not go to the installation unless the customer expressly requests it, because it cannot solve the problem via telephone. In this case, the travel and work of the technicians in the installation will be invoiced in advance, and the invoice will be credited only if the technical service verifies that the problem was related to a manufacturing defect of the door.
